Hello, this is a club for the GazettE fans! Join if you are one of them and show some love for this amazing band by creating some great fun art.


THE GAZETTE SONG MEANING ILLUSTRATION CONTEST:

Since many people were happy with the contest theme I decided to arrange it. So here is everything you need to know to get it started.

Theme:Create a piece of artwork which would illustrate the meaning of one of the GazettE song lyrics. Tell its story through an image. Pick the one that you like and let the song inspire you.

Deadline: May 31st

Rules:

You can search for a song meaning online if you want, but you can also illustrate the way you see it. It doesn't matter if it's not the correct meaning of the song.
It is not necessary to include the band members in the deviation, but you can if you want to.
Usage of the stock images is allowed as long as you follow the rules of the stock owner and credit them.
You have to write a short explanation of the song meaning in the deviation description(aka the artist's comment)when you upload your entry to deviantART.
The text of the lyrics is NOT ALLOWED in the artwork (in the background or anywhere at all).
Using screen captions of their music videos is also NOT ALLOWED(it is not allowed to use them as a reference to a drawing either).

All mediums are welcome: traditional art, digital art, photography...
To submit your entry, upload it to your gallery and then send us a note entitled 'contest entry' which contains a link or a thumb to the deviation and the explanation you wrote in your artist's comment.
You have to be a member to enter.
Only 1 entry per member.
Your entry must be a new deviation, not uploaded to your gallery before April 28.

If your entry isn't satisfying these terms it will be disqualified. Therefore read carefully before you start.

Judging:The winners are going to be chosen by the members the day after the deadline via voting.

1 Commissioned image of any 1-2 band members from the band, The GazettE by :
_{-Will have the choice between anime or realistic style. (Photo reference for any specific outfit would be helpful)
-Image will be digitally painted. (If anime style is requested, winner will have the choice of watercolor as well.)
-Choice between direct replication of photos or a newly made illustration.
-BL theme between two members are accepted, but nothing graphic. It must stay within reason of DA rules.
-Winner will receive the original file through E-Mail for eligibility to print illustration. (Non-Watermarked) (Size: 8.5X11Inches or 11X15 Inches)}
