Song: Swallowtail on the Death Valley

A swallowtail burdened with a shadow
In the desert of pleasure that robbed your dream

You're living with "the lot of scars" on your back which can not fade away'
Swallowtail, dress, dessert of pleasure, I think I've put all of them in the art above xDDD
I don't really understand the real meaning of this song, but I think this song is merely about a person who had to pretend to be with someone that always needed him. Even though he didn't want to, and want to tell the 'someone' the truth, but he just couldn't.
2. Come back, won't you? by ~SabrieI
Song: Reila
The song I used is...Reila...the sky's colour gradient is dark to bright coz he sees the light and hope but he's in the dark and depressing side. But there are rain clouds on both sides because really, both sides are just hopeless and the door is opened because he thinks he sees it so...as if there was a return road for her. Apparently she went out through that door (and as you can see there's no floor) and fell through (signifying her death), died because she falls down and down and can nvr get up again.
3. Kare Uta for TheGazettEclub by ~RedRoseKitsune
Song: Kare Uta
The two are far apart in the room and not facing each other, symbolizing growing apart mentally and emotionally in a physical representation. The drop of water covering the scene represents tears falling, while the flowers represent the small still-there connection of wanting to be together, being nourished by the tears (water).
4. T A I O N by =Musha-Chan
Song: Taion
Well, the song's about Funko Furuta who was kidnaped, tortured and murdered so...the woman in the drawing represents Funko >_> The candles and incense are for her death, the ripped curtains show for her broken dignity and the chains are keeping her from the outside world she was taken from >.> The woman's arms and legs are sewn parts because the goons burned Funko Furuta's arms and legs before she died of shock. The mask is supposed to show how she tried to hide her emotions and held on until the end.
5. Silly God Disco by ~xxalexx1
Song: Silly God Disco
I focused on the lines-
"I swore I at that time. I will walk life that shines highest"
and
"The wing expands and goes to look for freedom and the glory"
The footprints represents well......... a walk of life that shines highest
The white wing represents "freedom"
where as the black wing represents "glory"
I was intending to do a chain on this pic but due to me having tests all this week I don’t have the time, which is quite a shame actually.

Friendship - one of the most precious and beautiful feelings ever.
You can trust your best friends, they never leave you alone. There's always someone who helps you, someone who will be by your side forever - your real friend. As long as you are together, there is nothing impossible.

Song: Kare Uta
-Song meaning- (as I saw it)
I saw the song as two people who loved each other so dearly, but as time went on by, everything started to become distant and fade away, as afraid of being alone, tries to recall memories
8. ::TaioN:: by ~brecelle
Song: Taion
My pic is inspired by the song "Taion", because i love it's sound and the strong meaning behind it. This song is dedicated to a 16 year old murder victim called Junko Furuta, who died in 1989. She was held captive by 4 boys for 44 days and they did horrible things to her until they set her on fire letting her die of shock. If you want to know further details check out the Wikipedia article.
The girl presented in my pic is supposed to be Junko. On the right side you see her lying in a cellar-like environment. This is the place where her dying body is actually lying. The paradise-like ambiance on the left means that she's passing away. So it's her innocent body going to heaven.
I know that this is a very sensitive topic but i did my best to let her look beautiful nonetheless!
9. Guren by ~onebetweenus
Song: Guren
"Well, I choose Guren, because this song is in my head lately.
Guren means Crimson (red) Lotus ... I think that's beautiful.
That's why, in my mind, I see a girl in a red dress that has been hurt... It's painful, she's suffering... that girl is the crimson lotus... and she's beautiful
But there's someone worried about her, that doesn't want her to fade... but she doesn't know... she's just... alone
With this pic, I'm trying to show her emotions...
I would like to write a lot more about this pic, because I see so much meaning... but... I'm not very good with english, so... -.- I can't"
10. distress and coma by ~psycoreaper
Song: Distress and Coma
The song itself for me is a very depressing song. It explains about a person(bride) having a distressful sleep. In the song they explain horrible things like persuading injury won't disappear. Dance Dance , the never ending tears. The song keeps talking about a bride probably having a horrible night. I always imagined her covered in blood, tears , ripped dress, knives.
To me the song explains a person who sees a happy person. Bride in my terms could mean a happy person because they're getting married and stuff like that. He's trying to ask her what are you thinking so "she" will trust him. He tells her that pain won't disappear. Then he hurts her ans stuff.(ex. from song: burn your feet. In the end he says stuff like good night. Good night is like the ending like death. He wants to end her dream... And that goodbye is blooming (or in that case her her death is soon to come)
11. Saraba by ~Rin8
Song: Saraba
For Saraba.
Well, I thought it fit because the lyrics seem to be describing WWII, so the crane, a symbol of peace, plus blood. And I added sakura petals in, too, for the whole Japan-feel.
The Japanese on the top says "Saraba", which means farewell (I hope this doesn't break the rule of not having the lyrics in the drawing itself...) and the words on the bottom are "Wasen", or war and peace.
12. Reila by ~Black-Ban
Song: Reila
The song I chose for this piece is 'Reila'. I wanted to represent the pain and, at the same time, the love of the couple that appears in the song.
13. Sumire - Ruki by =haneMIsaki
Song: Sumire
A gorgeous song by The GazettE, with Ruki's beautiful words. As I listened I imagined Ruki in the rain, trying to hold on to the fading memories of his past lover. He becomes colder and colder as he tries to reach her. He holds two violets that represent the two of them, but he knows that the only way to really be close to her like the flowers are is in his dreams.

My take on it is just a sense of sadness, I suppose. I'm not quite sure how to put it in words, but a kind of hopelessness, I suppose. An emotion.
Well, I have my interpretation, you'll probably have yours. Tell me what it is?
15. TAION: GazettE contest entry by ~wakiagaru
Song: Taion
This is my conceptualization of Taion by The GazettE. This was the song that got me hooked to them, after all~
It's relatively simple... the cold dead-looking forest that is really only dormant provides refuge for the crying girl. Though the wind blows wildly, a streetlight, however cold, still lights the way.
16. Filth in the Beauty by ~kuismali
Song: Filth in the Beauty
The song actually gives me an idea of a raped or somehow violated person. It might be a rather far-fetched interpretation, but such ideas pop up into my mind every time I hear this. You just scrub and scrub and the filth still never goes away. Therefore, there's the abstract, crude semi-dark surrounding the person. She's covering her face and "the filth" on it, trying to hold herself together, kinda. The shame and confusion after being violated altogether.
17. Uzuku Aza to Yugamu Ura by ~KaitouNeko
Song: Uzuku Aza to Yugamu Ura
Why does she still look at that guy whose shadow isn't there?
well, the girl in the the pictures is reaching her hand out for the guy who she used to be with... walking away from her current lover ["Ruki"] and there's an outline of a shadow on the ground to represent that there is no shadow... but to still show that she is following his shadow.. if that makes sense. and she's crying because she is bruised from that past relationship and can't get over it...
I'm already using every strategy in the book
so I can’t slip out I don’t want to slip out
umm, this is represented by "Ruki" holding the bouquet of flowers, which he was going to give to the girl, but he sees that she cannot open up to him and will continue to look at that guy, so he's crying too and has dropped the flowers... which scatter in the wind [ah, representing his scattered dreams?]
18. Believe...wounds do not heal by ~KurenaiNoMusume
Song: Distress and Coma
I read that the girl in the PV was from Ruki's dreams, but that he couldn't see her face; so in the PV it isn't revealed either. So in my painting I drew two girls, actually the 'blue' one is kind of the reflection in the mirror.
The butterfly girl's face is hidden, and she can't see it in the mirror either. She can't find her real self in a way.
[uh i am confused, i am in a hurry]
The PV, the lyrics, the cover of the single are probably connected, but it is hard to sum all that up...I believe there is a deep meaning in it, I just need to take some time and think of it. And come with my own judgment, if we can call it that way.
19. Nauseous with Fear by ~Desertfire
Song: Nausea and Shudder
Different people could come up with the different meaning for this song. I believe I took the idea for this picture just from listening to it (don’t understand Japanese without looking up the meaning) and the title of the song itself.
However looking at the lyrics closely I believe it’s about being unafraid to step out into the world. Despite the fact that “shadows” and “darkness” which I interpret as fear as a whole, can stop you from “flying” in the world, you cannot allow that. Although, fear can choke one, at times might make you nauseous and shudder with thought, one must continue through it. You must persevere, despite the challenges that you know awaits you.
20. SxDxR .RUKI. by *VulgarxSxDxR
Song: SxDxR
To me, the song SxDxR is about Sex, Drugs, and Rock in Roll. The things that made rock in the 80's, but is 'dying' off, when in reality, is still going strong. In the song, there is a mention of using coke even though already high [drug abuse]. I also drew a guitar because this alone is the symbol of rock n roll. Ruki is wearing snake skin pants because CurtCobain, who's smoking cigarettes on a snake skin bed,... Plus snake skin reminds me of trashy 80's hair metal, which viskei/jrock borrows a lot of their image from. Basically I interpret the song as being a bad ass, rebelling against what is 'right' to produce this image of such, while making reckless music. A Bad Brat.
21. Calm Envy by ~verachan

Picture meaning based on Calm Envy translation ( I just take a part that represent this picture)

What I can get after read the translation is...
a couple that already broke up, but the man still remember his ex. It makes him really hurt.
The song's part above is when the man longing his ex and remember the moments he had shared with his ex.

Okay,this is my explanation:
This drawing is inspired by the song called "Guren".It is such a catchy song XD.Anyway,the girl is crying for her lost love(see the kanji which means "love" on the tattoed heart from her arm).The heart is something her beloved left behind him .Her black tears cover the pink blossom and won`t let them grow up anymore.The picture is about the sadness in the soul that you feel when you lost the one you loved.

A place where Death and Life meet. The place in the middle of happiness and sadness. The perfect moment in the middle of despair. The moment that takes you the past, and stays for ever in the future.
24. Ganges Ni Akai Bara by ~RoseThorn33
Song: Ganges Ni Akai Bara
When i read the lyrics for this song, I imagined a girl who is as beautiful as a rose and frail at heart. No one is able to save this girl from her heartache and inability to continue living, so all that is left is to pray for this lost soul who has been used by countless people. She died in the place she grew up and called home as she gave up experiencing life's value. This girl was an old soul, tired of carrying through life without happiness.
The reoccurring theme in the song is that of a rose, and I wanted to show her relation to the rose with a red rose color in the photo.
25. Last Bouquet by ~KiriHearts
Song: Last Bouquet
So what I saw that song portraying was that the speaker was avoiding his non-lover. Kind of an 'I'm sorry I can't love you' kind of thing. Yeah.
And in the end the song that is his 'last bouquet' of farewell to her is twisted, like a wilted flower. Because even if you don't love someone, you still don't want to hurt them. Love is supposed to be beautiful, like a rose, but this isn't love, it's more like... pity. Regret.
26. Gazette: Taion by ~Kawaii-Heart
Song: Taion
This song was called "Taion" and I really like to listen to it so many times because it like a sad puppet calling out for someone to help him from being beaten or being alone. Save him from being tied to many of strings and be controlled by someone. Its hurt, when will it ends, he wishes. Then he done something awful to get away from that someone that he wishes he hasn't done that, "it was just a bad dream," he said. "Was it a bad dream?" Then later he saw her again, but it was her soul being lifted away and she told him that she was fine, it was ok, it was ok....
That is what I saw in my head, it's so sad and emotional.
27. Headache.Man by ~Rurichuu
Song: Headache Man
The idea is that the person in the image would be who they were 'singing' to, a person who wouldn't listen to the warnings they gave him, and now he will slowly disappear single handedly by the Headache Man.

My favorite GazettE song and this is my contest entry for

STORY: So I chose this song becuase as said before, it's my favorite, and when Ruki sings "I will walk together" I get goosebumps!
Okayokay, so When i first heard of this contest, it took me a while to pick a song, think about it and draw. I set my eyes on Cassis and I looked up the translation. As soon as I read the translation a memory popped into my head. It was Valentine's Day, 2009. My friend and I decided to hang out at the arcade in Little Tokyo. It was jammpacked with couples! Lol I felt sort of lonely. HHAAHHA, anyway. The game I always play, Para Para Paradise was empty so I decided to showoff [sort of] my skills. Lol soon there was this guy behind me and when he went up he did the hardest level without breaking a sweat. i was very jealous and soon we were in a silent competition trying to be the best. Then when I got really into the game I tripped over my own feet and fell on my knee. I couldn't stand up and everytime I moved my left lef, a searing pain shot up to my body. I realyw as stuck on the floor and then this guy lent out his hand and helped me up. He was really nice and helped me with my leg. Wow that was really embarassing. At around 7 my friend and him helped me get to my house [I only live a block away], even though he had to be on the bus and at home by 7. The following weekend I saw him again and we talked and hung out. He came two more weekends after that, and then all of a sudden he stopped coming. I would go to the arcade every weekend to see if he came, but alas he wasn't there. I can't lie, I've given up, but I haven't given up hope. Just like in "Cassis", "I will walk together, the future not promised

29. Nemurasete to odoru by ~SandyClaws91
Song: Distress and Coma
My song is "Distress and Coma". I chose to illustrate the lyrics quite literally. So I featured a dancer. But for me, the whole feeling of the song and the is very dark and desperate. It's hard for me to describe my illustration, so I made a little story to explain.
The picture and the song tell a story about a lonely dancer. She is forced to dance, something she used to love, but now she hates it.
The tree is her only friend. Sort of her soulmate. She takes all her despair and sadness to the tree, and he holds onto it for her, so she doesn't have to feel it. After a while all the sadness becomes to heavy for the tree, and they start leaking out of him in the form of colourful droplets (the balloons).
Without her sadness, the Dancer can dance again. She can be happy and live, at least for a while. So she leaves the tree with all her problems. Until she needs him again.
Such a sad love story. But isn't it one we know oh so well?
(So I guess, you have to read the photos from bottom to top. The dancer is with the tree in the bottom picture, 'cause she needs him. And in the top picture she has left him, with all her despair and anguish.)

"I chose this song because I'm passing through it right now.
